Hi, if you can make the pre-arrival registration successfully, you can enjoy enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 14 days, and no visa will be needed if you go there for less than 14 days.

As I know, the pre-arrival registration is usually valid for 6 months, so you can do that 3 to 1 month prior to your departure date.
