About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is there a min time limit that one must spend in the third region to qualify for 144h visa free?

Hi,
Would the following itinerary be OK for 144h free transit:
AMS-Shanghai arriving in Shanghai 14 June
Shanghai - Hong Kong 16 June arriving in HK in the morning
Hong Kong - Amsterdam 16 June leaving HK 23:05
So basically would those 6-8h in HK be sufficient to qualify for 144h free transit?

There is no min time limit on that. You are eligible for 144 hr free transit in Shanghai by traveling like that. No visa is needed. Nice trip.
