About:Chengdu South Railway Station

getting to Renaissance Hotel from South RR Station metro stop

If I take Line 7 from the East RR Station to the South RR Station stop., where should I exit the South Station to walk to the hotel which appears to be only about 5 minutes away?

In fact I think it is not a 5min walking distance. My map shows 1.9km away. Maybe it is better if you change to line 1 first at the south station and get off at the next station, Tongzilin, Exit B. It is about 500m away to the hotel.
