About:Shanghai Travel

We are arriving in Shanghai on June 22 and will stay less than 72 hours.

Our next flight is SH to Taipei, where will stay 5 days.

We then return Taipei to SH for 48 hours to fly to London.

Can you very kindly advise that we can indeed avail of the 72hours transit policy based on this routing?

Many thanks!

No, I'm afraid that you cannot enjoy the 72 hours visa free policy.

Thanks for quick reply. Can I just double check as my friend got different advice.

So arrive SH from UK- stay 48 hours

Fly to Taipei - so leaving China

Fly Taipei to SH - stay 48 hours

Fly to UK

Many thanks in advance and really appreciate your help!
