About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Applying for residence permit

If I got my jw202 from wuhan university, do i need to apply my residence permit in wuhan or i can apply it in beijing? Since i am living in beijing now. Thanks

Hi, personally I think you can apply for it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB in Beijing. You can have a try.

Because i asked some agents and they said i need to go directly to the city where my university is and i need temporary residence permit in that city to apply for my visa. And if I travel to wuhan only to apply it, can they send my result and passport back to beijing by shunfeng or other posts?

It's hard to say that for sure. You are advised to contact the Wuhan PSB to inquire if they could send your passport back by post. Good luck.
