About Z Work Visa

I have some queries can you please help me on it , i am currently holding Z work and haven't expired yet but last year i was arrested for assault case and served 7 months sentence in detain house not in jail i was released by Chinese court without deportation and when i released my current company don't want hire me again but they didn't terminate me yet, they give me some time to get new job and meanwhile i got new job so i have question when i will go to extend my work Z and changed company A to company B and apply work permit i don't get any trouble and entry-exit department approval my application or because i have criminal record previous so they won't approval my application ?
please response me and guide me in this situation i am really appreciate.

Shailesh, you should first cancel your alien employment permit that you hold now, and then your new employer can get the FEC for you. Next, try to apply for a new work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. Good luck.

First of thank you johnny to replay , my current employer will cancel it and give me cancel letter , i have question what is mean FEC ? yeah i would guide my new employer HR as you guided and BTW even if i have criminal record previously then also i can able to get new work permit ?

FEC means foreign certificate of employment, I guess. Your previous criminal record may not affect the application of new work permit. You can have a try.
