About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Retire to China

My wife is Chinese. I want to retire in the next year. Have a home there in wife's name. What Visa will allow me to basically live there when I want and come and go as required? Majority of the time we will live there but will travel to USA and other countries over time. Thanks!!

You can try to apply for a family Q1 type and then get the residence permit after entering China. You need to provide required documents include your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from your wife and copy of her Chinese ID card, as well as your marriage certificate.
