About:How to Apply for a China Tourist Visa

Me and my wife are both retired and will like to visit our son for three weeks as tourist.

While filling the form under occupation no mention is in the drop down menu of retired. Please inform what should be done as it is compulsory requirement. Also do all the information of father and mother mandatory. My son will be providing letter that we will be staying with him and he has been working in China since 2010. He is British Citizen.

Me and my wife had travelled to China as tourist (L) issued on 3rd August 2011 for entry before 3rd November 2011 for 30 days and my Visa No. F3629838

You can select "unemployed" in section 3.1 and choose "not applicable" in 3.3. And you can choose Not Applicable regarding your father and mother's information if they are deceased and try to fill as much information as you can which is helpful to your application.
