About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Can I do a roundtrip LA to shanghai?

upon arriving to shanghai, I move forward to hong kong , Tokyo, then back to shanghai to get another plane to LA the same day
