Generally, four-star and five-star hotels offer currency exchange service, but it is only for their guests. I suggest you exchange money at banks, and please remember to take your passport which needs to be presented when you convert currency.

However, it is difficult to exchange currency or use a credit card at remote areas, so it is advisable to take enough money when you are going to visit the remote area.
