Hotel Reservation

Hi, I will be making a trip to Yunnan in September of 2018. Although I will start the trip in Kunming, I will be traveling to several cities and towns within the province. In order to get the entry permit, do I need provide proof of reservation for every place I may visit, or is one reservation from a hotel in Kunming enough to guarantee a visa?
