When should I obtain my visa to travel through China?

If I get my entry permit in mid July of 2018 and go to China in mid October of 2018 will my entry permit be good to complete my travel in China in early November of 2018?

Hi, as I know, you can apply 3 months before your trip, but usually you are advised to make the application one month prior to your trip. So you can make the application in September of 2018.
