2 month F-Visa and applying in China and Appyling for visitor Vis (S2/Q2)

I have a F-Type for two month. Afterwards I plan to travel for a month with my girlfriend. Is it possible to apply at the end of my 2 moth F-type for a Visitor Visa at the local Chinese PSB?
My Girlfriend has family in China and they would sent me an invitation letter for this purpose. Hence i would apply for the S2/Q2, visiting friends.
Do you think it is possible to change my entry permit in order to be able to extend the duration of my stay for further travel after the end of my project?
Hope you can help me; I appreciate it a lot.

Manuel, you cannot change the L type into a S2/Q2 type because you don't have marriage certificate. But it's possible to convert the F type into a tourist L type at the local PSB. You can have a try.
