Planning a trip May or June 2020

Hello, my friend and I are planning a world tour for ourselves and decided we wanted to include China on our itinerary. We decided amongst ourselves to get a tour of Beijing and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. We had some concerns however on planning. As we are backpacking the globe, we don't necessarily have a set time table as to when we will be coming from India and flying into China. How far ahead must we book a tour with these two places. Are they held every day? Also we had a question in regards to airport transfer from Beijing to Zhangjiajie. Will we be "looked after" as we navigate through the airport. We are hopeless when it comes to getting around airports when we aren't familiar with the local languages.
