About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Do I need a new visa for traveling with a different purpose?

I had a Q2 for family visits a few years ago and it's still valid. I will be traveling with people from my college later this year for academic purpose. Will I need a new entry permit for that?

Hi, Angel, personally I think you can use the current valid Q type for that trip to mainland China. No need to apply for a new one. Just for reference.
