Hello, connecting flight in Shanghai

I am a citizen of israel

I would like to know if I can travel and make a free transit in shangai.

I will arrive at 7:30 in shangai and will depart the same day from shangai at 10:00 to hong kong for a trip of 4 days.
do i need a visa for the 3 hours in shanghai ( i will stay at the airport of course) and do i need a visa to hong kong?
