About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Checked luggage. Do you see a problem?

Maybe this was asked. Do I have to clear my luggage through customs or can I just take my carry on into china?

Also, I have 2 passports. I want to travel with one (usa) and enter china with the other (germany). Both have same name and info, so they match the ticket.

Hi, if your luggage is not delivered to the final destination directly, I think you need to clear your luggage through customs. You are advised to enter and travel in mainland China under a same passport.
