About:China Transit Visa

Transit VISA for Ugandan traveling to Mongolia through China

Hello we have a basketball team traveling to Mongolia through China (Beijing or Hong kong). Do we need a transit Visa for this as we will be traveling through Ethiopian Airlines.

Hamza, if you transit in Beijing, you can only enjoy the 24h direct transit policy. If you transit in Hong Kong, you can enjoy the visa-free stay there for as long as 30 days. The transit visa is not needed for either case if your stay is within the limited duration.
