I am traveling from the US through Beijing to Mongolia, arriving in Beijing June 7 (around 2PM). My friends and I are planning on doing some sightseeing in Beijing for 2 days, and then leaving for Mongolia early in the morning of June 10.If we travel to the Great Wall on the day trip, do we need to get a visa since that is outside of Beijing?

I think you will visit sections of the Great Wall within Beijing if it is a one day trip, right? Don't worry, it is ok.
