About:Juyongguan Great Wall

I came across your website while looking for information on how to get to the Juyongguan Secction.

According to some websites, I could take the tourist Line no. 1 from Qianmen to Badaling. So could you please confirm if there is a stop at the Juyongguan Pass? if so, which stop is it the first stop or the second stop?

I′ve read, the last bus from Badaling back to Beijing departs at 16:30, could you please also advise me how to get from Juyongguan to Badaling, so that I can catch the bus back to Beijing?

I would really appreaciate your help, as the information on the internet is rather confusing.

Do you mean you want to visit Juyongguan at first and then transfer to Badaling?
If so, I’m sorry to tell you the Tourist Line No. 1 won’t have a stop at the Juyongguan Pass. So you can consider the ways recommended on this website to Juyongguan.

As for how to get from Juyongguan to Badaling before 16:30, you can take the Bus No.879 or 919 at the Juyongguan Station and get off at Badaling Station, and then the free shuttle bus will transfer you to the Badaling scenic spot. It usually takes about one and a half hours at most and the ticket fare is CNY 6 per person in a single trip.

So you’d better leave Juyongguan before 15:00 for Badaling to catch the return bus. But in this way, you won’t have time to visit Badaling. You are advised to visit Juyongguan in the morning and then to climb Badaling in the afternoon.
