About:China Tourist Visa

I want to visit my son in China in July so visa do I need a invitation letter from him or the school

Someone told me just to book hotel then cancel it

Trudy, if you want to apply for a Chinese tourist L type from the CVASC in your country, you can provide an invitation letter from your son. You don't need the round trip air tickets and hotel reservation if you have the invitation. Don't worry.
