Licensed Nurse to work as an English Teacher in China

I am a nurse by profession however, I have worked as an ESL teacher in 51 talk for almost 2 years now. I have a willing Chinese employer in Beijing. What are my chances?

Mary, if you want to get a work Z type to live and work in China, you can ask your employer to apply for a work permit for you. If it can be done, you can try to convert your current visa into a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. Just give it a try.
