Alie, if you go to China for sightseeing purpose, first, you need to provide a filled-out application form, passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, residence permit in France, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary. Next, submit the application to the CVASC to apply for a Chinese tourist L type.
