hainan island (syx phoenix international)

Question

i donot need a visa for visit this island ( 30 days free entry) but do i need to book with a travel agent or i could travel  individual sightseeing. because i read an article saying i have to book with an travel agents. May it was before this new rule before May 1, 2018 free entry.Thanks for the Help

Hi, if you want to apply for the 30-day visa-free policy in Hainan, you are supposed to book a tour from a Hainan travel agency. After received by the travel agency upon arrival, you can apply for the visa-free policy then.
