About:Chinese Embassy in Austria

Application for tourist L visa

I will be on holiday in Vienna before I plan to visit Beijing. Can I apply for my L whilst in Vienna if I am not an Austrian citizen?

It's possible for you to apply for it from the China embassy in Austria if you have valid visa in there. You can have a try.

My NZ passport allows me free entry into Austria so no visa required.
Can you advise if an L application for China is then possible whilst I am in Austria? I will be in Austria for approximately 4 weeks.
I will have a letter of invitation, an itinerary, my passport copied, passport photos and a completed application form.

It's still possible for you to apply for Chinese tourist L type from the China embassy in Austria. You can have a try.
