About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How soon can you return to china after 144 hour visa is used?

Can I use the 144 hr free transit to travel to Beijing, China (from Bali), then visit Japan (for about a week), then come back to Shanghai, China for another 144 hours, then return to the US? Who can I contact to confirm? Thanks!!

If your itinerary and your passport qualify, you can transit without visa as often as you want.

You can come back same day if you want. Though I've only done next day return.
