Hainan Visa-Free or Visa Entry

How much does it cost for voa if I visit Hainan (only) NOT part of a tour group? I'm an Australian Passport holder visiting Hainan for a week, in late May. I'm traveling individually. Thanks.

Hi, if you will be received by a Hainan travel agency, you can apply for the Hainan 30-day visa-free access, and it's free of charge. Otherwise, you cannot apply for it. You need to apply for a tourist L type beforehand.

No. You cannot get the L type upon arrival at Haikou airport. You are advised to apply for it from the CVASC in your country beforehand.
