About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Family visa issue

We are getting divorce soon, Will my family Q expire soon after divorce? It will expire in a year time, if yes can I exit the country and re enter? And if it will expire sooner than the expiry date, can I apply for a student X from back home and it is possible for me to get it since I had a family Q before

Hi, personally I think it would expire until the expiry date. It's possible for you to change the family visa into a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go back to your home country for that. Just give it a try!
