About:China Visa Application in USA

Visa free stop over in Shanghai

Holder of Jamaican passport and U.S. Green card I551. Have 15hrs layover in Shanghai. Do i need a visa to exit airport. Do I qualify for free entry with my onward boarding pass..
What type of entry permit should I apply for this 15hrs layover

If your travel route would be country A-Shanghai-country B, you can enjoy 24 hr direct transit in there. If you have hotel booking confirmations for Shanghai, maybe you can leave the airport.
