Picking up visa

Hi there,

I applied for a Visa at the Auckland Consulate a couple of weeks ago for travel to Shanghai next week. As I live three hours away I told them I would come pick my passport up the day before I fly out instead of making the trip back down later that week. I have a pink slip for collection. My question is, would they have notified my via phone or email if there was anything wrong with my application? Should I just assume everything is ok if I have the pink slip?

I just don't want to turn up and then to be told there is a problem with no time to fix it.

Thank you,
Peter

Hi, Peter, personally I think you can just assume everything is ok if you have the pink slip. If you are still worried, maybe you can call them to inquire that before you go there.
