About:How to Collect a Train Ticket

Picking up train tickets in Hong Kong

Hi, I want to book train tickets from Hong Kong to Guilin and pick the tickets up at Hong Kong station before departure? Is there a surcharge for collecting tickets in Hong Kong?

I think it depends on the way you book a ticket. Tickets booked with China railway need to be collected from counter No. 1 to 10 with a service fee, tickets booked with HK railway need to be collected from counter No. 11 to 25 without service. However, the tickets booked with HK railway cannot be cancelled.
