About:China Transit Visa

Visa requirements do i need to apply for a visa up front?!

Hello! I am from the netherlands and i have 2 layovers in China (Shanghai and Beijing ) before i land in Sydney, all within 24 hours. Can i get entry permit at the airport in Shanghai? I searched everywhere just really cant figure it out and im leaving in a week...

Chlo, you are able to use the 24 hr direct transit in mainland China. You need to inform the airline in advance that you want to use the free transit in Shanghai, and you can apply for it at Shanghai airport upon arrival.
