Lahiru, if you go there for tourism purpose, you need to provide copy of passport, the application form affixed with a passport-style photo, proof of your financial support, transportation and accommodation arrangement, and your travel plan. Processing time is around four working days if you have all the right documents, and you may need to pay 3000 rupees for that.
