extension of s2 visa.

Question

I am inviting my sister for 180 days but I am suspecting the embassy in my home country will only give 30 days, is it possible to extend it at the PSB inside China? What documents will be needed if it is possible?

It's possible to extend the S2 type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. But as I know, the extended time won't exceed the original duration of stay. You can have a try.
