will i be able to enter the country with prescription adderall (amphetamine sulphate)?

I use Adderall for ADHD.  It is a controlled substance here in the US.  I had to surrender it on a previous trip to Japan. I also use medication for Bipolar and Sleep Disorder.  I have not found a definitive answer at the embassy or customs.

Generally, you won’t be allowed to take these to enter the country. If you really need, these medicines must go through the safety check and you must show the doctor’s certificate to China Customs.
