I am flying US-HKG 5/31 and then HKG-SGN 6/2. If I want to stay in Shenzhen instead of HKG for the

My flight is From the US to HKG on 5/31 and HKG- SGN on 6/2? If I want to stay in Shenzhen instead of HKG, do I qualify for the 72 hour Visa?

There´s no 72h twov in Shenzhen.

Either you apply for a tourist visa in advance or get a 5 day Shenzhen VOA at the border.

US passport can now get VOA in Shenzhen although the cost is the same as the 10-year one. French passport holders are also eligible despite a previous ban.

US Passport is not eligible for VOA in Shenzhen so L type will be needed.

Good to know that VOA is available now for US passport, but yea at that price best just to get the 10 year visa. Though VOA will save on visa service fees if not living close to personally appear at the consulate in the USA.
