About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

hi! i have a philippines passport but i have a residence visa here in netherland

our flight details is Arrival 28dec : 06:55 Shanghai (Pudong - PVG), China en Departure: 30dec 00:30 Shanghai (Pudong - PVG), China going to Philippines. Do i need to apply for chinese entry permit since i have filipino passport (i understand that) will there be an exemption since i have residence permit of the Netherlands of none? or i can get entry permit in the airport? thanks! we just want to spend in the hotel en rest 29dec outside the airport if that is possible.

Only your nationality is relevant, not your residency. You cannot get a visa at the airport. You need a visa in advance. Or change your flight so that you leave China within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival.
