About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Which visa type shall I apply of a marriage purpose in China ?

I am currently planning to go to China, and marry my fiancé there, who is a Chinese citizen. I have checked all the visa types, but I have found none of them suits my visiting purpose.
Does my Chinese finance prepare anything ? (such like an invitation letter?)
I will support myself financially during the duration of my stay in China, so what document shall I prepare for supporting my finance?

Ben, you can apply for a tourist L type for that purpose. If you have round trip air tickets and hotel reservation, you don't need to ask your Chinese finance to provide you the invitation letter. No finance support is required. Don't worry.
