About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

tourist visa. I live in Atlanta, GA

I know I have to go through Houston which means I have to go through an company. But I go often to Washington DC, Can I go directly to the Embassy of China and request
tourist visa or Houston only can get me the entry permit?

Hi, you cannot make the application from the China embassy. You should submit the application to the consulate in Houston.
