number of pieces of carry-on luggage

Hi, how many pieces of luggage can we take on the high speed train as a carry on. I see the maximum size 130 cm and maximum weight 20kg, but is that PER LUGGAGE or total ? I might have a backpack and a suitcase, each of them within the guidelines.

The size should refer to each piece and the weight refers to the total weight of all pieces. However, in fact if they are not oversized, the luggage will not be weighted at all. So you can take your suitcase as well as the backpack with you directly into the carriage
