About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Same conditions with Residence Permit?

Dear Sir/Madam,

My wife is a mainland Chinese national, but holds an Autrian Residence Permit card.
Upon entering HK, do the same conditions apply to her asto Austrian nationals, or does she have to get a visa like a mainland Chinese?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
Oskar

Chinese passport holders must have a HK entry permit to visit HK if not in transit, which can be obtained at a Chinese consulate or embassy for a small fee. For transit purposes they can stay for a maximum of 7 days (including transit to mainland China).
