About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Hi, Applying for visa

I need to know how much will be the price for 1 year visa to China, also I have one of my Chinese friend there so I’m going to live with them whole year, is there any other documents needed or just passport enough to get visa if I come to embassy, if it is so just let me know what are the documents need & the price for one year will be,

Hi, a one year Chinese visa would cost RS.9600 per person. You can apply for a tourist L type, and you should prepare passport and its copy, a completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, invitation letter from your Chinese partner, photocopy of Chinese ID of the inviting individual, travel itinerary, round air tickets, the latest 3-month bank statement.

Ok if I’m applying as a employee , so the tourists visa will be ok with that, cuz may be if I found some work place I’m going to work there too,then what would be the things I want to arrange.also my Chinese friend (Beyoncé) lives with me now,we’re planning to go together .

After you find a job in mainland China, you need to change your L type into a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. Because you cannot work in China legally with a tourist L type.
