I am afraid that it will be noticed no matter in your luggage or in your pocket. It is not recommended to take this with you.

I've bought a kung fu knife in Hong Kong but will be travelling on the trains in China and from Hanoi into Nanning, will it be ok in baggage or will I have it removed? Or is there a fee I can pay where they hold onto it?
