Two transits in China to Japan

Hi there,
I have a Belgium passport and I am going on a trip to Japan, I have a stop in Beijing and then a hidden transit in Dalian before I get to Hiroshima. I was wondering if I needed a visa because I'm entering two different airports in China, or if the 72 hour free transit is still applicable? I will not be leaving the airports.

You cannot apply for the 72 hour free transit by traveling like that. But if your total layover time in China is within 24 hours, you can get 24 hr direct transit policy, and no visa is needed, either.
