About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Various Nationalities traveling from Mexico to China to Bali

Will have two separate tickets (MEX - PEK) and then (PEK - DPS). Second flight is several hours after the first. Would like to check out Beijing, if possible. Will have Mexican, Costa Rican, and Chilean citizens.

Will I have any problem visiting Beijing for 5-6 hours?

Thank you

Leaving the airport for short-time transit (under 24 hours) is always at the discretion of the immigration officer. However if you have a compelling reason (e.g., switching terminals) then he or she will usually let you in.
