i will be arriving in guangzhou at 1pm from kl.

Question

my flight to another city north in china will only depart at 6pm. Can i get out of the airport and visit GZ by metro for two hours or so before going back into the airport for my connecting flight?.Or i am not allowed to leave the airport. Is the above visit advisable ?. My luggage is checked through to the final city. thanks.

Well, sorry to tell you that you can’t leave the airport without a visa.If you have one, you can take metro line 3 to Canton Tower and enjoy the tower & Pearl River. Then, take the metro line 3 back to airport.
