If I want to use my own cell phone while we are in China what should I do? Is there a way you could purchase a SIM card and can we use that in our cell phone? Your help on this will be highly appreciated.

You can use your phone in China if your carrier does not lock your handset. It is easy to purchase a SIM card in China to use in your own phone. You can get a SIM card at a service counter of any one of the three GSM carriers.
