i want to apply the dependent visa for wife .

Currently working in Shanghai. I want to initiate the dependent visa for wife. What is procedure to apply S1 type . What are the documents required for it ?

First, prepare the passport and its copy, passport-style photo, application form, an invitation letter from you and copy of your passport and residence permit, as well as your marriage certificate and other documents. And then your wife can go to the Chine embassy to apply for S1 type.
