About:China Visa

UK National with Australian Permanent Residence. I have a criminal conviction from 20 years ago.

Looking to travel to Shanghai to visit family. Do I need to declare criminal conviction on the form given 20 years ago? If so, what’s the process in applying? Should I go through visa application before booking flights?

Hi, Lee, personally I don't think you need to declare criminal conviction for that. But I cannot assure that. You are advised to contact the China embassy or the CVASC in your country to inquire the detailed information about that.
