About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa required for 2.5 hour stop in Shenzhen?

I am a US Citizen traveling to Tokyo with a 2.5 hour stop in Shenzhen. We do not change planes. We also have an 11 hour layover in Xiamen. Do we need a travel visa?

Yes, you need a visa. Transit without visa is not allowed at Shenzhen.
